the waterfall

falls over me

my skin

translucent

to her touch

her eyes green

reflecting the surrounding forest

my eyes blue

receiving the waves

of the river

into my inner

ocean

stars surrounding

silence absolute

this is our universe

we come home to

a moment too soon

like a dream, it ends

in the blink of an eye
