Colour of the Jungle is a five-piece rock band consisting of: John Harris, Dan FiFord, Joe Costello, and Jack Evans. The group draws inspiration from bands like Kings of Leon, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and The Growlers, according to their press release.

They made their debut across major streaming platforms last year with four-track release of “The Jungle Book.”

A few weeks ago, they released their latest single, “Steel Tray.”

“Steel Tray” begins with an infections, gritty guitar that transitions seamlessly into the accompanying, groovy drums.

The lead singer’s vocals embody are heavy with the essence of that signature garage-rock sound, tying together the entire song.

Structurally, “Steel Tray” has a very raw, organic sound that makes the listener feel as though they’re right there, watching the band perform live.

This song has an almost nostalgic sound about it, making it the perfect addition to your summer road trip playlist.
