your life has a rhythm to it,

thump, thump, thump,

the draw of each breath reaches down to your navel before swelling your rib cage,

inhale, inhale, inhale,

the air swells in your chest and spills throughout your torso, down towards your pelvis before running and skipping out of the holes in your face,

exhale, exhale, exhale,

you are made of water, something bubbles inside,

gurgle, gurgle, gurgle,

you are alive.
