Brouge Morgan shares with us her poem, “Allergies” for the seventh issue of The Burgundy Zine.

This poem, along with another poem by Morgan, will appear in our digital magazine on July 28th.

Am I attacked by germs or pollen?

It takes me all day to tell,

First goes my sense of taste,

Then my sense of smell.

It’s weird how my throat feels hot,

My right eyeball’s about to pop—

I think I’ll go in to rest.

Tell me again why people think Spring’s the best?
