Inspired by no other than Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill” movie, “Beatrix” is Viper Club’s debut single that’ll leave you burnin’ up with boogie fever.
A Bit of Context…
Viper Club is a brand new band of four based out of Phoenix, Ariz, according to their bio on Spotify. The two brothers and their friends joined forces in 2019 to “write and perform high energy rock and roll.”
Their debut single, “Beatrix” was recorded at Palmquist Studios in Los Angeles, Calif and packaged neatly by Emmy-winning producer Jim Roach, mixing engineer Thom Flowers, and mastering engineer John Greenham.

“Beatrix” rolls right into the start, driven by it’s psychedelic-rock drums, funky guitar, and Beach Boy-esque vocals.
The song flows like a cool breeze on a summer’s day best spent cruising down the freeway in a 1970’s Chevrolet Impala.
The break in the drums and tight strumming during the pre-chorus are a refreshing pause from the hypnotizing guitar’s trance.
Throughout the track’s entirety the ’70’s rock influences that power the instrumental side of “Beatrix” are drawn together by VanDerPol’s nostalgic tone of voice. His expression and voice control are an impeccable 40 year throwback.
Overall, “Beatrix” is a fun and delightful track that’ll leave you feeling groovy – and in the mood for a “Kill Bill” marathon.
