My home, it is lost
and i don’t want to find it anymore

InkMe shares a poem about letting go of her faith.

My mother tells me when the bells chime they ring to the place where God looks upon from,
she asks me to have faith,
wish for a better life, but when i crane my neck towards the sky it pours and slaps my skin,
hard,
as if telling me to never seek for help –
scolding me for sins that aren’t even mine completely to begin with.
I shiver as if thunder embraced my being.
I never look at the sky nor I ring those bells at the temples anymore.

[faith is a clean blue sky and my body is a thunder prone land. neither of us belong together]
