Herbology hosted a meet and greet brimming with horderves and drinks to celebrate their upcoming dispensary in King of Prussia at Founding Farmers on Thursday evening.
A Bit of Context…
Herbology is a medicinal marijuana dispensary with 16 locations throughout the United States. By the end of 2019, they plan on operating 40 different locations, according to Mahja Sulmanjee, the director of outreach and dducation.

“Our King of Prussia location will be opening soon, so keep an eye out on our social media for more updates,” encouraged Dinesh Penugonda, Herbology’s director of dispensaries. “We’re so excited to be in such an amazing location. It’s close to the mall, the Wegmans, and so many other amenities.”
Guests shared in Penugonda’s excitement as they mingled with one another and spoke of their own experiences with medical marijuana in the comfort of the venue’s romantic lighting and nature-themed aesthetic.

“I think it’s a really cool industry,” said Alex Hayes, a guest at the event. “I don’t follow the legislation for it, but I’m in support of it.”
“If I can have a beer and that’s okay, what makes indulging in cannabis any different?”

Hayes then explained that he wasn’t a medical marijuana patient himself and that he wasn’t aware that we had dispensaries in Pa until recently.
“I only just found out it was decriminalized in Philadelphia,” Hayes continued. “Which makes sense, ’cause if you’re walking through Philly there’s a good chance you’ll smell pot.”
Another guest in the medical industry shared that while she also wasn’t a patient herself, her twin sister who suffers with chronic pain has found great relief with cannabidiol (CBD) products.
“My sister has struggled for years and now she’s finally found relief,” she said. “I’m so supportive of medical marijuana.”
“It’s kinda funny. When I was growing up, cannabis was still very taboo – and it still is in more conservative areas, but it’s incredible to see the shift in the last few years.”

About an hour into the event, Penugonda called the crowd’s attention to thank everyone for coming in spite of the inclement weather that evening.

“It’s great to see the community so enthusiastic about our dispensary as well as the industry,” he said during an interview following his brief speech.
Herbology is excited to continue hosting events in the communities surrounding their dispensaries – and as Penugonda had mentioned, the King of Prussia location will be open soon!
