CBD Chief Vape Starter Kit Review

The CBD Chief vape starter kit provides everything you need to get started in a very convenient, compact, and organized package.

“The device itself is very sleek and very light,” XtaSeay said. “It kinda looks like an old MP3 player.”

The design of the device is modern and fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. It’s petite, and slim; perfect to slide into your handbag or pocket. With the ability to turn the device on and off at will, you don’t have to worry that it’ll begin vaporizing the CBD oil or e-juice if it presses against your jeans or purse.

“The tanks also feel very secure as they lock into place,” XtaSeay added. “Though it does feel like it might get stuck in there.”

Although we didn’t have a CBD or medical marijuana syringe to fill the tanks with, we decided to test the device out with Juul pods.

“The CBD Chief tanks look pretty similar to the Juul pods,” XtaSeay said. “And it hits really smooth.”

The CBD Chief’s vaporization of the e-juice was fluid without any leakage. It wasn’t harsh so long as we kept the voltage on a lower setting, as the higher temperatures are more geared towards vaporizing thicker oils, like CBD.

However, even on the blue setting (3.9v), the Juul e-juice didn’t burn the back of your throat – it just provided more vapor and slightly altered how the mint flavor tasted.

Bug’s Two Cents

4.7 out of 5 pods

As a bit of an organization-nerd myself (for context, I geek out every time I go to the Container Store or IKEA), I really like how the CBD Chief comes packaged. It’s minimalistic and yet it gives you all the tools you need to start vaporizing CBD oil.

I was also impressed by the power of the device. The various voltage settings make the CBD Chief incredibly versatile.

Although we haven’t tested it out with CBD oil yet, the voltage and our experiences with it vaporizing e-juice leave me feeling confident in CBD Chief’s ability to efficiently vaporize thicker oils.

In terms of efficiency, the CBD Chief is one of the few vape devices out of the many I’ve played around with over the years that doesn’t leak. Even with my NJOY pod, I’m constantly wiping e-juice off of my lips or having to clean the pod to prevent further leakage.

The CBD Chief also grips Juul-style pods in a very secure and effective manner.

My only concern while using the CBD Chief was the noise I experienced while vaporizing with the Juul pods. It sometimes resulted in a crackling or popping sound, which made it less discrete than other vaping options.

However, this very well could’ve been at the fault of the e-juice, as the device is truly designed for CBD oils.

Overall, I’d highly recommend this device to those who are just starting out with vaporizing CBD oil or want to try out a new device.

XtaSeay’s Two Cents

3.9 out of 5 pods

“The CBD Chief is a self-serving vape pen that’s made with the intention for you to fill your own pod, making it very personal,” XtaSeay said. “The cart holds up, but I wish it were constructed with another material – or perhaps had a different way of connecting the tanks to the device, because the tanks felt like they were going to get stuck to the battery.”

In terms of battery power, XtaSeay said it works perfectly.

“The CBD Chief does exactly what it’s supposed to do,” XtaSeay added. “It’s a great vape starter kit for those who would like to fill their own CBD tanks.”
