That’s why they call us The BZ, we’re back, we’re back… Well, sort of.
It’s been about two and a half months since we’ve gone on hiatus, but we wanted to stop in and wish our community a happy two-year anniversary.
Plus, we’ve got some pretty exciting news to share.

Hiatus Update
For those of you who made it to the outro of our 171-paged “Fall Into Science” issue, you may recall that editor burgundy bug mentioned The Burgundy Zine would enter an indefinite hiatus after Sept. 28.
After much thought and planning, we’ve decided to re-emerge from our cocoon for a 2021 reboot.
With this reboot, we’re going to implement some major changes to The Burgundy Zine — but don’t worry, we’re still going to provide content that’s on-par with what you know and love us for.
We’re going to put out an official announcement outlining everything the 2021 reboot entails within the next few weeks. In short, here’s a preview of what you can expect to see from The Burgundy Zine in 2021:
- Changes in zine scheduling
- Strain of the Week revival: We’re going to launch a new cannabis review and education series similar to that of our Strain of the Week series
- Changes in post scheduling
- Updates to our guest submission guidelines and processes
- More resources for advertisers and sponsors
In the meantime, we wish you a safe, bountiful, happy, and healthy holiday season. You’ve been in our hearts and on our minds throughout this hiatus, and we can’t thank you enough for your patience.
If you would like to receive an email notification as soon as we officially return from our hiatus, please fill out the form below.
Please note: Due to the hiatus, we haven’t checked our emails or social media messages. However, we will get back to you shortly. Again, thank you for your patience and understanding. <3
Sincerely,
The Burgundy Zine
