After giving it much heavy thought, we have decided not to move forward with releasing “The Burgundy Zine #18: Imagination Recaptured” on July 28.
At this time, I, burgundy bug, will be stepping down from my position as the editor, writer, graphic designer, social media manager, outreach specialist, and webmaster of The Burgundy Zine. This decision comes at the hands of both professional and personal matters.
Any content that was paid for in advance will still be published on our blog, and the site will remain intact for those who wish to view or visit the platform.
Shortly after announcing the new release date for “The Burgundy Zine #18: Imagination Recaptured,” we began the process of laying out this issue of our digital magazine. It’s a bit like riding a bike at this point — no matter how long it’s been since the previous issue, the graphic design portion truly is like riding a bike.
Keep on riding along with us for a special sneak-peek of “The Burgundy Zine #18: Imagination Recaptured” in this week’s newsletter.

As our first-ever bi-annual issue, The Burgundy Zine #18 will highlight an array of content we published throughout the first half of 2021.
The deadline to submit content for the upcoming issue of our digital magazine is July 14, 2021. With a little less than two months until the release date, let’s recap the submission guidelines for this issue.
It cost me $50 for one adult movie ticket, a small popcorn, and a diet soda to see Cruella on a whim while waiting for the train yesterday. And honestly, the film was so incredible, I’d pay $50 again just to see it one more time. But more about that’s to come next week.
In the meantime, let’s recap what’s been hot here at The Burgundy Zine and gloss over some exciting news elsewhere that you may not have heard about yet.
Calling all contributors! If you’re a writer, artist, photographer, model, or musician interested in having your work featured in “The Burgundy Zine #18: Imagination Recaptured,” you’ve come to the right place.
