The indie-electric, sister-brother duo Marcelyn are filling Bob and Barbara’s Lounge with their one-of-a-kind, ambient sound tonight in Philly.
A Bit of Context…
With 17 years between Mike and Marcelyn Lebovitz, the two use their respective generational influences to create a sound that’s truly “Marcelyn.”
“This blend of influence and lyric style is like mixing paint and hair dye, both are similar surface substances, serving similar purposes but together result in a peculiar blend.”
Marcelyn – Press Release
Earlier this year, Marcelyn released their album “This is Women’s Lib?” which is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp.
“[Marcelyn’s] smooth vocals combined with her brother Mike’s audacious bass playing and production skills make tough-to-swallow topics go down like a refreshing glass of water.”
