You could describe Still Woozy’s music as poppy, dreamy, funky hip-hop, but there’s just one word that sums up his entire discography: fresh.

Lucy is the perfect introduction for new listeners to get lost in the captivating and colorful world of Still Woozy.

The California-based artist Sven “Still Woozy” Gamsky has recently made a name for himself with the release of tracks such as Cooks, Wolfcat, Habit, and his most played track on SoundCloud, Goodie Bag.

Although he has recently broken into the scene, Still Woozy’s musical roots run 16-years deep, according to a press release by KCPR.

Prior to becoming Still Woozy, Gamsky was in a math-driven rock band by the name of Feed Me Jack alongside the likes of four other musicians in 2011.

As it currently stands, Still Woozy has six tracks across major streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, and SoundCloud.

The artist has 12 thousand followers on SoundCloud and 1,737,083 monthly listeners on Spotify, as of February 2019.

The psychedelic track Lucy is a fruity, electric, lively blend of pop and funk elements, highlighted by the charming vocals of both Gamsky and ODIE.

Although it is unclear whether the title is an explicit reference to the hallucinogenic drug lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), the tone of his discography complimented by the illusive artwork consistent across all of his tracks seem to support the assumption. The refrain, What’s on your mind? What’s on your mind? also seems to pay homage to the mind-altering substance.

[Verse 1: Still Woozy]
Are you for the whole last week?
Huffin’, laughin’, cussin’ and yelling in your sleep? (Why?)
I think it through
What the hell you watching, boo?
Is there something supernatural fucking with you? (Really though)

[Chorus: Still Woozy]
Well I know that it’s only time
But let me see, what’s on your mind?
I could see, what’s on your mind?
What’s on your mind?
Why are you so damn cute?
Make a fool of me, I won’t die
Why?
What’s on your mind? What’s on your mind?

[Bridge: ODIE]
Safe is your heart, lover
You know we should start
Learn to be open (Be open)
Safe is your heart, lover
Safe is your love
You know we should start
Learn to be open (Be open)

[Verse 2: ODIE]
She could paint the sky like a photo, yeah
And baby we should never know it
If we don’t, if we won’t try
We could live a life full of color
If you want (If you want)
Let me know
We’ll escape the pigeon hole (pigeon hole)
It’s our world, so go girl
Let’s get it on

[Chorus: Still Woozy]
Well I know that it’s only time
But let me see, what’s on your mind?
I could see, what’s on your mind?
What’s on your mind?
Why are you so damn cute?
Make a fool of me, I won’t die
Why?
What’s on your mind? What’s on your mind?

It’s safe to say Lucy, Wolfcat, Habit, and Goodie Bag have all found a permanent home on my series of monthly SoundCloud playlists.

I am personally looking forward to the tracks following the release of Still Woozy’s latest single Habit.
