This week, we began fashioning posts vaguely around the zine for this month’s theme of “passion” by taking a look at the modern American dream, tuning into Lucy, dishing out date ideas, and implementing HTML page jumps on our sites.
Weekly Recap
On Sunday, the Night Owl’s Guide to Staying Up All Night gave us some insight into the night owl lifestyle. We took a look at why you may have trouble catching z’s along with some advice on how to cope with those sleepless nights.
On Monday, we took a look at Modern American Dream, which has been ever-changing since our founding fathers declared their independence.
On Tuesday, we tuned into the psychedelic single Lucy by Still Woozy (feat. ODIE). We also dished out some date ideas for those who are “broke af” this Valentine’s Day.
On Wednesday, we took at look at what’s going in the world. In short: President Donald Trump delivered the State of the Union address, Hawaii may raise the minimum age to smoke cigarettes to 100 years old, 21 Savage was taken into custody by ICE, Demi Lovato deactivated her Twitter, and a college student in North Carolina found a man in her closet.
On Thursday, we learned how to implement HTML page jumps on your website.
Going Forward
Going forward, you can expect more Valentine’s Day themed content and more HTML tutorials. There will also be interviews with two journalists for major publications released in the upcoming days/weeks! As always, you can expect both Tune-In Tuesdays and What in the World Wednesdays this week.
Be sure to also keep an eye out on Penelope Peru Photography P³ for footage from West Chester University’s Open Mic Night, as well as more nature photography.
