In a special installment of Strain of the Week, Canncentral shares their review of A-Dub cannabis flower.

The A-Dub strain was purchased from a champs show at a dispensary in Las Vegas. It’s an Indica-dominant hybrid that’s a mix of several other strains.

A-Dub is characterized by its high potency content, according to the Las Vegas Valley consumers.

A Bit of Context…

A-Dub is a 50/50 hybrid that originated in California, made from a mix of Alien Dawg, Sour Diesel, Chemdawg, and Sour Bubble which results in an average THC potency of just over 30 percent.

This means that for the average price of $56 per ⅛, this strain can provide quite intense cognitive effects.

There’s absolutely no Cannabinoid in its profile, instead A-Dub’s main terpenes in order of least to greatest are: β-Caryophyllene, β-Myrcene, and Limonene.

Information on A-Dub Seedling and Growth

A Dub Strain is presently being bred by Shango and is one of the most powerful strains to date due to its high potency similar to an extract.

It doesn’t take too long to flower, generally spanning around nine or 10 weeks with the most yield courtesy of ScrOG.

Overall, you can expect an average harvest if you’re an intermediate or advanced gardener. If you’re growing outdoors, the yield will grow taller, and medium if grown indoors.

This strain is similar to Alien Fruit, East Coast Sour Diesel and Bubba Kush. However, the seeds of this particular strain aren’t easy to find which is something to consider if you intend to grow them.

A-Dub Cannabis Flower Review

A-Dub is a strong hybrid strain that can have many positive effects such as relief of aches and pains, or feelings of discomfort with an efficiency comparable to many potentially addictive over-the-counter medications.

Consumption of A-Dub can have a euphoric effect and a boosted sense of creativity that can be useful when engaging in artistic endeavors. This strain is considered to be among one of the strongest out there.

The appearance of A-Dub is consistent with the appearance of Sativa and Indica. It offers a thick and dense almost forest-like visual, along with the glistening and a hint of shine that creates a very appealing and almost magical look.

With its shared profile with solid Indica as well as sweet Sativa, A-Dub seems to share its overall consistency with Indica because it’s quite thick and difficult to penetrate.

The aroma can be described as an earthy scent with a hint of black pepper and citrus notes that combine to make an intoxicating smell that seems very natural and soothing, allowing your olfactory senses to enjoy the strain’s fragrance before you even begin to smoke.

As for the flavor, A-Dub is intense right from the first inhale as you taste the hint of ground pepper, then enjoy a nice citrus flavor upon exhaling.

Overall, A-dub gives the impression of something to be indulged in once and a while to truly appreciate the experience, rather than a strain you quickly consume simply for a fast “high.”

This strain is also known to have various medical benefits as it can aid individuals suffering from certain ailments or other issues.

For example, A-Dub has been found to have positive effects in lessening the intensity or duration of headaches, as well as other aches and pains. Moreover, it also has the potential to ease feelings of depression.

As such, A-Dub may be best used in the evening as a way to relax and unwind before getting a good night’s rest.
