Terrapin’s Lemon G is a concentrate that’ll shatter you in all the right ways.

A Bit of Context…

Terrapin Care Station has been established as a cannabis producer since their introduction in Boulder, Colo. a decade ago, according to their website.

In June 2017, they were one of the 12 grower/processors awarded a license in Pa, beating out about 180 other applicants. By Nov, they had opened their growing and processing facility in Avis, Pa.

Terrapin produces a wide variety of products including: flowers, “terrapods,” and tinctures, which can be purchased from over 40 dispensaries throughout Pa.

Review

“The color of Lemon G is wonderful,” XtaSeay said. “It’s a rich, glossy, golden yellow. Being that the shatter is thin, it’s also pretty easy to work with.”

The flavor of Lemon G is a bit zesty, but any tinges of citrus are overpowered by the comforting, earthy taste that lingers in your mouth after vaporizing.

“Lemon G is a very…. head spacey strain,” XtaSeay said. “It’s like mental fog, but I’m still cognitive.”

He also described a sense of waviness throughout his body and detailed how his thoughts seemed to crash over each other like waves of the ocean.

The cognitive effects of Lemon G are hard to accurately depict, yet they’re incredibly distinct. Personally, I found my thoughts racing, but not in a stressful, anxiety-inducing, paranoid haze.

It’s a calming strain with uplifting effects, but it still encourages deeper, interpersonal reflection. Lemon G encourages you to relax enough to better recognize, identify, and communicate your feelings.

“I’m not so paranoid, but I could put myself into that state if I spend too much time dwelling on what’s running through my mind,” XtaSeay commented.

Physically, he said the strain provided a great deal of pain relief in the neck, lower chest, and stomach.

“My muscles in general just feel very loose,” he added.

Bug’s Two Cents

4.7 out of 5 Lemongrabs

Lemon G can be dizzying for those who aren’t expecting a full-blown reality check upon use.

However, a reality check is never such a bad thing. If anything, Lemon G allowed me to unwind enough to gain a much needed, much more realistic perspective that has stuck with me even beyond my use of the strain.

I’ll be honest. I’ve been running around like a chicken with its head cut off lately, and I haven’t had much time to truly absorb life; I’ve been letting each day whip me around in a whirlwind without ever taking a moment to wonder how I found myself in the eye of the storm, anyways.

Lemon G unwound the jack-in-the-box that takes up space between my ears and allowed me to not only acknowledge the whirlwind of my daily routine, but to be in a calm enough state to poke fun at my own tendencies – like my inability to accept when I need help.

It’s self-sabotage and unhealthy not to accept help, as hard as it may be to ask for it in the first place.

Overall, it’s a fantastic strain for patients who need not to step out of their own head, but to jump into it feet first. It has a great flavor, beautiful consistency, and is highly effective at alleviating physical pain, as well.

I would not recommend this to patients who are already prone to racing thoughts, or patients who aren’t ready to explore themselves on a deeper level.

4.5 out of 5 Lemongrabs

“I’d recommend this strain to patients who want physical pain relief and mental relaxation,” XtaSeay said. “But take it with caution if you’re looking for more cognitive benefits, as it can make your thoughts race.”

He also recommends this strain for patients who have anxiety and/or insomnia.

“I could definitely hit the hay right now, but I’m not completely zonked out, either,” XtaSeay added.
