Book of Dreams 2 is a soft and serendipitous jazz ballad by SoundCloud artist Sara Neal that will leave you daydreaming on cloud nine.

A Bit of Context…

Neal is a modern day jazz pianist with two EPs on major streaming platforms, such as Apple Music/iTunes, and Spotify.

Neal’s vocal ability shines over the slow, waltzy, piano melody in Book of Dreams 2.

Her voice is delicate, sweet, yet powerful. Neal consistently hovers around the same notes, emphasizing her lyrics with a tasteful amount of vibrato.

Lyrically, the song is absolutely beautiful. I am in awe of lines such as, “The white shirts left behind leave you running through my mind.”

The jump in the melody’s key by the last refrain is runs through the listener’s body and straight to their heart, painting their arms in goosebumps.

If you’re as head over heels for this track as I am, I highly recommend giving the rest of Neal’s discography a listen. Especially the track Witty Girls (Stupid Boys).
