“Through” by Manic. cover.

Acoustic and heartfelt, Manic. strums through to your soul in his latest single, “Through.”

A Bit of Context…

Manic. was formed by writer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Nicholas “Bedhead” Banos in 2015, according to their official website.

In Sept. 2019, Manic. debuted the single “Gone” on SpotifyApple Music, and Bandcamp, followed by his single “Through” in Dec. 2019.

Through by Manic.

Soft and slow, “Through” begins with a melodic acoustic guitar that truly brings out the best in Banos’ voice. The two play off of each other, harmonizing perfectly without the strings distracting from the vocals, or vice versa.

The song is deeply personal and inspiring, coming off as a pep talk to oneself and a push towards getting through hardships or depression.

“Snap out if it,
You’re unbearable,
Do something with your hair, it looks terrible,

Get your head on straight,
Before it’s too late,
You’ve got bills to pay,
Get out of your own way.”

“Through” by Manic.

“Through” bears similarities to acoustic tracks by the likes of alt-pop bands such as Sleeping with Sirens and Pierce the Veil, yet retains its own air of uniquity.

For its somberness, the song is enchanting, with Banos’ voice drawing you in for another listen.

Overall, “Through” is a beautiful, endearing, and honest track, perfect for getting you through the winter blues.
