Although the cognitive effects of White Sour are mild overall, the strain produces an immediate head buzz.
“White Sour is definitely more of a head than a body ‘high,'” XtaSeay said. “It’s very subtle. I feel like you would have to vaporize a lot of it in order to really experience it’s full potential.”
Vaporizing White Sour isn’t too harsh on your lungs, which is a real bonus. It has a very woody, nutty flavor.
“You can definitely taste the pinene,” XtaSeay agreed.
White Sour begins with very calm cognitive effects that become more intense about 15 to 30 minutes after inhaling it. It was only a matter of time before I found myself indulging in a doodle-binge.

Bug’s Two Cents
4.5 out of 5 albino citrus plants
Initially, I had given White Sour a 3.8, but after using it a little more I have found myself increasingly delighted with it’s effects.
I don’t always have the best of luck with cannabis: some strains have me zonked out on the couch immediately, others leave me in a haze or send me spiralling.
I was really looking for a strain that would increase my focus and help me be more present in the moment, rather than living in the syndicated memories in my own head.
After doing a bit of research on terpenes, I figured out that limonene and linalool could potential provide the effects I was looking for.
Limonene helps regulate GABA and other neurotransmitters, such as serotonin and dopamine, according to research published in the Journal of Nutritional Science and Vitaminology. Their study found that limonene reduced stress in just one week.
In mice, researchers found that linalool decreased levels of norepinephrine, serotonin, and dopamine, positively correlating with its anxiolytic effects. Another study found that linalool helps regulate GABA, as well.
These neurotransmitters limonene and linalool regulate are responsible for mood and memory, further reinforcing these terpenes as promising treatments for depression and anxiety.
White Sour contains both limonene and linalool, which is exactly what I was looking for. It helped me focus, even curbed my caffeine cravings! I felt far more present and motivated after vaporizing the strain.
I highly recommend White Sour for anyone who is looking to alleviate symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and over compulsive disorder (OCD). This strain would also be helpful for reducing stress, anxiety, and boosting the user’s mood.
XtaSeay’s Two Cents
4 out of 5 albino citrus plants
“White Sour gave me a very energetic buzz,” XtaSeay said. “It’s definitely more of a daytime strain, or for anyone looking to feel more alert.”
After giving White Sour a second try a few weeks later, XtaSeay increased his rating from 3.5 out of 5 to 4 out of 5.
“This flower immediately went to my head,” XtaSeay said. “I feel the physical effects more in my face than anywhere else in my body. It’s actually giving me a very mild headache, but it’s not the end of the world.”
