With just six days left until the release of “The Burgundy Zine #9: Back to School,” we’ll be hitting the books and slamming out some student life advice while we’re still on the subject during this final stretch.
Weekly Recap
We kicked off this week by announcing the Academy of Vocal Arts’ 85th season on Sunday. Then, we went over the pros and cons of majoring in liberal arts.
On Monday, Bid 4 Papers taught us how to write the perfect essay outline, followed by our coverage of the New England Cannabis Convention (NECANN) in Atlantic City, NJ.
On Tuesday, we tuned into Viper Club’s debut single, “Beatrix.” Afterwards, we were thrilled to announce the professional bodybuilder Niki Brigs’ big win at Battle for The Belt in Aug.
For our Strain of the Week, we released our review of Medical Mary’s Broad Spectrum 1500MG CBD Tinctures on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, @talm_photography shared their mesmerizing photograph of a giraffe in black and white from their expansive collection of breathtaking wildlife photography.
On Friday, Denelia Storm gave us eight ways to change up our look for the school year.
On Saturday, Storm shared his vibrant photography with us, followed by the motivational quotes Mahik’s delighted us with.
Going Forward
Although the release of our next magazine is just a few days away, we still have a few more subjects to go over for our “back to school” issue.
This week, we will be releasing an article about homeschooling resources as well as student debt. Guest writers still have until Sept. 27th to submit additional content, as well.
Please note: The earlier your submission gets to us, the better chance it has of making it in this issue. While we haven’t turned down a contributor yet, there have been instances of having to funnel their submissions into a later issue due to scheduling constraints.
As always, you can expect another installment of our Tune-in Tuesdays and Strain of the Week series, too.
In the meantime, why not head over to Penelope Peru Photography for additional photos from NECANN and some colorful captures from the Hard Rock Casino in Atlantic City?
Until next week,
