Happy Zineversary! Yeah, we weren’t clever enough to think of that title on our own… Thank you, Mahik’s and Saumya (@artisticardor), for the inspiration. Err, zinespiration?

Bahahaha.

Weekly Recap

We began this week with the poem “Christmas Eve” by Mahik’s, followed by our interview with the indie-electric trio Marcelyn on Tuesday.

On Thursday, we reviewed the Academy of Vocal Arts’ production of “The Marriage of Figaro” and released some exciting information about their upcoming production, “BrAVA Philadelphia!”

Friday marked the one year anniversary of The Burgundy Zine, but burgundy bug was too busy getting all four of her wisdom teeth removed, so we celebrated on Saturday, instead!

Going Forward

With our wisdom teeth all out, there’s no reason to pout. We have some DIY Christmas content on the way and we’re still accepting submissions to the December issue of The Burgundy Zine.

For more information about submitting content for “The Burgundy Zine #12: It’s Beginning to Look A Lot like Craftmas,” click here.

Again, thank you for a truly amazing first year. We have a lot of plans for 2020, which you can read more about here.

Until next week,
