With just one week until the release of The Burgundy Zine #7, we’re hurtling towards it at full speed ahead.

Weekly Recap

We began this week with the poem “fire water” on Sunday, followed by Haikus Patrick Gillespie wrote and our review of Trevor Noah’s autobiography, “Born a Crime” on Monday.

On Tuesday, we spoke to Health Canada in regards to their recall of a variety of sexual enhancement products, tuned into “Moment to Moment” by Missing Words, and featured “The Unfound Generation,” a poem by David Moore.

On Wednesday, we featured another poem by David Moore, “A Million More Did Start,” and turned our artists spotlight towards Tiny Teri.

On Thursday, The Black Bile shared a poem called, “To Time Travel,” followed by another poem called, “Bible Belt” on Friday.

We began Saturday with coverage of State Representative Jennifer O’Mara’s town hall in Marple on Thursday evening.

Then, Brouge Morgan shared her poems, “Allergies,” and “Suspension of Disbelief” with us.

Lastly, we dove into research published by the American Society for Nutrition this year that demonstrated how incorporating two ounces of pistachios into your diet leads to a healthier, potentially longer, life.

Going Forward

Going forward, the release of “The Burgundy Zine #7: Art & Poetry” is scheduled for July 28th. Any submissions for this issue must get to us by July 27th in order to make it in – otherwise, it’ll be placed in the August issue.

As for the rest of this week, we have an interview lined up with the medical marijuana dispensary, Herbology, about their new location in King of Prussia, Strain of the Week will be returning tomorrow, and as always, you can expect another installment of Tune-In Tuesdays this week.

We’ve got even more poems lined up, as well, so keep an eye out! Today, we’ll be featuring a piece written by Mahik’s.
