Y’know, I had this realization the other day that I manage to casually slip some textbook-sounding medical tidbit into just about every conversation that I have.

So, TALK TO US ABOUT SCIENCE! Don’t be surprised if editor burgundy bug somehow manages to go off on some ICD-esque tangent, though.

Anyways, let’s dive into our weekly recap.

Weekly Recap

We began our week by directing our Artist Spotlight toward Tessa T. on Monday.

On Tuesday, we tuned in to an interview with PHNTMS guitarist Adam Jessamine. During our interview, we discussed PHNTMS latest single, the band’s core values, and their upcoming EP.

Then, we tuned in to reviews of “A Little Lie” by Isabella Snow and “Things You Wish” by Today’s Children.

On Thursday, we published our interview with the National Institutes of Health / National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering director of research Krishna Kandarpa, P.h.D.

During our discussion, Kandarpa explained the current research underway to implement AI algorithms in the diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19. We also discussed how this technology may impact the future of radiology.

Afterward, 360 on History owner and creator Saima Baig inspired us with the life story of Ada Lovelace, the first computer programmer.

On Friday, we directed our Artist Spotlight toward digital illustrator @bagelwhalee.

Then, Rosalyn L. shared a few tips for implementing more eco-friendly business practices.

Afterward, we announced that Rosalyn L. has officially joined The Burgundy Zine team! It’s such a pleasure to collaborate with Rosalyn L. and we’re excited to feature more of her writing.

Last — but most certainly not least — we discussed how making time to simply “breathe” can do wonders for your creativity.

Going Forward

KEEP TALKING TO US ABOUT SCIENCE. WE LOVE SCIENCE.

Until next week,
